Image: Sun clock Gubin

The wall clock at Piastowska 8 is located on the highest front facade of a four-storey tenement house from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, built in the historicist trend. The clock fits in with the unique character of the building, each of the three pseudo-avant-corps of which was designed in a different rhythm and division of architectural elements, representing mainly a very economical neo-renaissance with neo-gothic style. The half-oval surface of the clock is finished with a floral motif, with the gnomon (hand) positioned approximately 2/3 of its height.
